Proficiency in Core Java, a basic understanding of Java Frameworks, and knowledge of Database Concepts and Version Control Systems are essential. As a Software Engineer intern, your main focus will be developing a prototype to assess the security of Identity Providers (IDPs) like Okta and Ping Identity. This involves identifying and fixing misconfigurations that could lead to cyberattacks... thereby reducing the risk of data breaches and unauthorized access for customers. You'll use your Java skills to create tools for analyzing network traffic, implementing secure logging mechanisms, and developing automated security testing tools. Additionally, you'll work on integrating secure communication protocols like HTTPS and SSH, and leverage Java security libraries and frameworks to enhance security features and mitigate risks.
