AlmaBetter secures funding of $2.7 million, led by Kalaari Capital and other angel investors

AlmaBetter was founded in the year 2020 by IIT Kharagpur and IIT Delhi alumni Shivam Dutta, Vikash Srivastava, Arshyan Ahsan, Ravi Kumar Gupta, and Alok Anand. We offer two flagship programs, Full Stack Data Science and Full Stack Web Development, helping college students and working professionals venture into the perpetually growing tech industry.

We offer a 100% placement guarantee and understand the importance of financial independence in a student’s life. Hence, we have integrated the pay-after-placement feature with our programs, allowing students to train in a risk-free learning environment, secure a job with a minimum threshold salary, and only then pay the program fee.

This calls for innovative and affordable upskilling platforms which deliver quality learning outcomes at scale”.

With 16,000 learners already enrolled across our two programs, we aim to upskill more than 60,000 students by March 2023. Over 300K students have registered with us in the last two years, and we have partnered with 500+ MNCs and startups as our hiring partners.

The next step for AlmaBetter will be widening the scope of our product offerings for college students while strengthening our existing offerings for college graduates and working professionals. We also plan to launch new job-oriented courses in the field of Product Engineering, UI/UX, and other related fields.
